The Pastel Society of North Carolina is an educational corporation dedicated to advance the knowledge of soft pastel painting. Our goal is to promote and provide educational opportunities for our members: to enhance community awareness and appreciation of the beauty and value of soft pastels; and to bring together individual artists in our region.

We welcome pastel artists of all levels from amateur to professional. Members experience a creative environment for learning and sharing in art demonstrations, workshops, member exhibitions and plein air outings. Our programs provide channels for networking, communication and friendship.

Next Meeting: May 13

Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Place: Jerry’s Artarama
3060 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, NC 27609

PSNC will have its own private supply fair! We will be introduced to all kinds of materials and will be allowed to experiment with many brands of pastels. Then we can share our favorite materials and purchase items if desired.
