I am a plein air oil and pastel artist from Crozet, Virginia. I received 25 awards over the recent 9 years mostly in pastels. Among them are two Honorable mentions in Pastel 100 competition in 2013 and 2015. A finalist of the Artist’s magazine in wildlife category in 2015. In 2018 Plein air Magazine published an article about my art “Pastellist at heart” featuring my plein air oil and pastel paintings. I am a Signature member of Southeastern pastel society, Northwestern pastel society, Associate of PSA and OPA. Occasionally I give workshops in oil or pastel in local art centers. I love to paint plein air landscapes, outdoor florals and still life and farm animals. I do commissioned works including pet portraits.
