Betty Hendrix will be a featured artist along with her son from Lake Tahoe, California for the November/December show at the Campbell House, Arts Council of Moore County, in Southern Pines. Along with their wall art, there will also be wood work (toys & table items) by Shelly Rappaport (Sheila’s husband) and jewelry by Susan Edquist.
The opening reception will be held on November 6 from 6:00-8:00.
Richeson (the art supply business) holds juried art competitions which are exhibited online and a few special ones in their Wisconsin gallery. Betty had two pieces listed as Meritorious Entries which will be published in their annual book of Animals, Birds, and Wildlife near the end of 2015. One piece is a pastel titled “Golden Eagle” and the other is a colored pencil piece titled “Mr. Merganser.”
