We are seeking artists for a fun competition and showcase in Jacksonville, NC. Chalk the park is a fun, family event to showcase the love of the arts and favorite pastime of sidewalk chalk. We encourage artists of all ages to participate! Activities will include making your own chalk, artist demonstrations, children’s activities, music and a free competition!
Entry into the competition is free. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed one free box of sidewalk chalk. Check in begins at 8:30 AM. Judging at 11:00 AM. Awards begin at 11:30 AM. Awards presented to first place and honorable mention in each category (Adult, Teen and Youth) as well as People’s Choice Award.
