I want to thank those of you who participated in the Golden Belt Arts exhibit. And thanks especially to Roxanne Lorch and Chris Long, gallery coordinator. Without them this would never had been the success it was. Thanks goes also to Pearl Cohen for coordinating a lovely reception. It was very well attended. And Luana Winner won the People’s Choice award.
The next exhibit coming up is the Holiday Exhibit at Ambleside Gallery in Greensboro. Jackson loves having us there and does a wonderful job of curating this show. Thank you, Emily Thompson, for being our liaison for this show. Here are the important dates to know:

On Saturday, October 12 Jim Hallenback did a demonstration and looking further, Anne Kindl will do a demonstration in November. The December program will actually be a Christmas get together at the home of Nina MacDonald, December 14 from 3-5 pm.
We are still needing someone to volunteer to be our Workshop coordinator for 2025. Please let me know if this is something you are interested in doing. We will also be presenting a slate of new officers towards the end of the year. Please step up and do what you can. It takes everyone to run a successful organization. Don’t be shy!
The weather is changing and promises a beautiful fall for en plein air painting. Enjoy!
