Hailing from Eastern North Carolina and now residing in Tampa, Elizabeth has been a dedicated pastel artist since 2016. Specializing in landscapes, still life, and figures, her work draws significant inspiration from the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist periods, particularly the styles of Degas, Bonnard, and Monet.
With a passion for continuous learning and artistic growth, Elizabeth actively participates in both online and in-person workshops. She travels yearly to her hometown to participate in the Ayden Art Show and won “Best in Show” in 2023 with her painting “Shackelford Horses.”
Elizabeth is honored to hold an Associate Membership in the prestigious Pastel Society of America and has achieved Signature Membership in the Degas Pastel Society, reflecting their dedication and recognition in the field of pastel art.
Her work captures the essence of their subjects with a nuanced understanding of light, color, and form, embodying both timeless beauty and emotional depth.
