Meetings for the society are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10am – 12pm (unless otherwise scheduled).
Face to face meetings will be held at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, presenting a variety of topics suggested by you. These meetings will be streamed for those who cannot join us in person. On alternate months we’ll have zoom demos with featured artists as we did in 2021. NOTE: The Pastel Society face to face meetings scheduled for the NC Museum of Art have been cancelled for the time being. Join us online whenever you can.
Please see the schedule of programs planned for each month in 2022 listed below.

March 12 – Empowerment Series, “How to Plan for Leaving Your Artistic Legacy” with attorney, Justin Eldreth (on Zoom)
The next presenter in PSNC’s “Empowerment Series” will feature Mr Justin Eldreth, Raleigh NC attorney, who will speak on legacy planning for artists. With an eye towards the future, several of our members thought it an important topic. What will you do with your artwork when you die? A sombre topic, especially in the midst of your productive years – full of energy and future, though one that we must all ask. Who will get your finished paintings, or your supplies? A school? A church? An organization? A relative? A friend? Have you a favorite charity or relative? What are the pitfalls of leaving these questions unanswered? Take charge now while you’re in full power of your artistry!
