Born and educated in the Northeast, Helen Knapp has been involved in the world of art since childhood. Helen has been fortunate to have studied at the NY Art Student's League, Montclair Art Museum in NJ, and has had extensive instruction under the direction of Daniel Greene, world famous portrait artist.

Recipient of numerous awards including featured artist for Edible Arts in Durham and the Mayor's Award in Cary, she has also enjoyed several solo exhibitions.

Helen is represented by The Little Art Gallery in Cameron Village, Raleigh, Greenleaf Gallery, Duck, NC, and Alamance County Art Council in Graham, NC.

In May and June 2004, Helen will have a One Woman Exhibit at the Botanical Gardens in Chapel Hill, NC.
